Icona d'una llegenda personal compartida

Sortosament la vida es troba marcada per un camí sinuós, d'alts i baixos on intentem mitigar les cotes soterrades, i que ens permet seguir la traça per assolir la nostra llegenda personal. Aquesta molt ben caracteritzada pel personatge del pastor a la novel•la L'Alquimista, de Paolo Coelho. Basant-se amb el que ha après, emprant l'enginy, la intuició, la lectura de signes, d'escenaris i realitats noves, va moldejant el seu coneixement fins a la consecució del seu objectiu preuat, la seva llegenda personal. Per tant, això ens evoca a elogiar al pensament particular i poder de decisió inquebrantable de tot ser, com a expressió màxima per assolir els seus objectius, en base a l'intercanvi i transformació de coneixement entre les persones.
A partir d'aquesta vessant individual com a pedra angular, privilegi a preservar i enaltir, hom és capaç d'establir lligams basats en valors, afeccions i principis que li acaben configurant un caràcter particular que alhora es retroba compartint-lo amb grups, comunitats o amics; així trobem pobles, regions, estats, associacions, colles... actuant com a instrument representatiu de llegendes personals compartides.
Però avui en dia encara podem anar mes enllà de pobles, regions o estats, perquè la variable espai la podem relativitzar, perquè el temps malgrat ser impecable el podem escurçar, i perquè el coneixement és font inesgotable per a la creació de nova riquesa per les mateixes llegendes personals o de noves, però amb instruments i realitats diferents. És així, que els límits administratius de les llegendes s’esfondren i abarquen l'espai global, que els colors de la gent que els comparteixen són de games i tonalitats variades, i les modalitats de generar nova riquesa, social i econòmica s'han anat transformat, podent donar formes inimaginables en el temps de la indústria convencional; emprenedors de Timbuktu i Camprodon treballant junts, activistes socials camprodonins col.laborant amb gent de Ouagadougou, Santa Marta o New Orleans, noves modalitats d'intercanvis de serveis online sense emprar la moneda convencional, manifestacions dels drets del pagès de la Vall de Camprodon rebent el suport de pintors Senegalesos de l'Ile de Gore, arquitectes de Shanghai i tants d'altres, a través de la xarxa.
Aquesta nova realitat l'hem pogut viure en primera persona, en mig del no-res, en un indret banyat amb ventisques capcioses i un sol punyent disfressat de colors aterradors, on hem trobat una població amb tons fantasmagòrics, records d'indrets esperpèntics i amb un caire de deixadesa, constatat per les grans quantitats d'instruments i cotxes destartalats que banyen els carrers i les llars dels 400 habitants de Marathon al sud de Texas.
Aquí recobra sentit l'escrit, gràcies a La Loma del Chivo, el nostre allotjament a Marathon com icona d'una llegenda personal compartida. Aquesta alimentada per l'Stan i en Guil, dos persones que com els Aymara actuen en base als nous models de vida del segle XXI, podent viure en aquest racó de món perquè les noves tecnologies han retallat espai i temps de manera aclaparadora, perquè compten amb el coneixement per generar nova riquesa mitjançant el computer i perquè excel•leixen en l'ús d'energies alternatives i l'art del reciclatge; aprofitant els recursos naturals (energia eòlica, solar) i materials usats (el 70% de l'estructura de La Loma del Chivo és feta d'una massa de paper combinada amb ciment). Tenint en compte que el seu projecte s'omple de valors socials, ecològics i econòmics passa a ser d'abast interplanetari!
Nosaltres, ja formem part d'aquesta llegenda personal compartida, al mateix temps que anem moldejant la nostra cap als camins inesgotables i encisadors del S.XXI.

Fortunately, life is a sinuous path with its ups and downs, where we attempt to mitigate the buried heights that allow us to follow the string for achieving our personal legend. This is very well characterized by the shepperd in the novel the Alchemist of Paolo Coelho. Being based in what the main character has learnt in the past, using the wit, the intuition, the reading of signs, new stages and realities, let him reconfigure his knowledge in order to achieve his most valuable goal, his personal legend. We read it like a praise to the particular thought as a maximum expression to attain his goals, with regard to the exchange and transformation of knowledge among people.
Therefore, following this individual aspect as a bedrock, privilege to preserve and enforce, people are able to establish ties based on values, interests principles that end up shaping a personal character that is met at the same time sharing it those with communities, groups or friends. Therefore we find villages, regions, associations, college mates as a representative instrument of shared personal legends.
Nowadays, we can even go further than villages, regions and states, because the space parameter is relative, because we can cut down time despite of we are aware that’s unstoppable, and because knowledge is an inexhaustible source for the creation of new wealth for our personal legends or new ones using new tools in a different reality of life.
It is like this, that we can assert that the administrative boundaries of personal legends are vanished, that the colors of the people who share them are from a huge arrange of tonalities and the modalities of generating wealth, social and economical model have gone transformed, reaching a payoff of shapes which where unimaginable on the times of conventional industry era. Thus we can find entrepreneurs from Timbuktu and Camprodon working together, “Camprodonins” social activists collaborating with people of Ouagadougou, Santa Marta or New Orleans, new sorts of online exchanges services without using the conventional currency, demonstrations for the rights of the farmers of the valley of Camprodon and receiving the support of Senegalese painters of Ile de Gore or Architects of Shanghai and so many others trough the net.
This new reality we have been able to live in first person, in the middle of “nowhere”, in a place bathed with strong wind and a pungent sun disguised of colors, where we have found a population with remembrances of places grotesque and with a look of carelessness, ascertained by the great amounts of instruments and spoiled cars that bathe the streets and the homes of the 400 inhabitants of Marathon in south of Texas.
Here is where our writing recovers its sense, thanks to the La Loma del Chivo, our hostel in Marathon as the icon of a personal shared legend. It is nourished by Stan and Guilford, two people whose way of living is based on the new models of people's lives on this twenty first century like the Aymara.
They are able to live in this corner of the world because the new technologies have reduced space and time in an overwhelming way, regarding to the new models of life because they have the knowledge to generate new wealth through the computer and because they exalt in the way of renewal energies and the art of the recycling; using the natural resources (eolian, solar energy) and recycled materials (70% of the structure of La Loma del Chivo is made combined of a mass of paper with concrete). Considering that their project fills with social, ecological and economical values into account it goes to being of interplanetary reach!.
We are already part of this shared personal legend, at the same time that we keep following our legends towards the inexhaustible and charming paths of the twenty first century
